Great Sources For Advertising
Your Niche Business

Advertising done right can put your business in front of an unlimited amount of the right kind of people. But most small and home based businesses struggle with how to develop an ad campaign to successfully market their business.

Finding the right place is not the problem. In fact, there are many free places--especially online--to place an ad for any type of business.

The question is "what type of advertising is right for my kind of business?" One thing is for sure. Don't rely on only one method. As the saying goes, don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

However, if you have a small budget you can't afford to spend a lot of money on many different sources. So, what is the answer? Explore many of the free sources first. These include online and off line possibilities.

Some of the most popular are:

1. Social bookmarking. Sites like My Space, Facebook,,, Technorati, and Redditt, just to name a few.

2. Article Marketing. Write on topics pertinent to your business and include hyperlinks to your website in your article. 3. Forum post's. Make sure the subject is relevant to your business and your post is sincere. Include your website address as your signature.

4. Link Directories. Most of these are free. Find those with lots of traffic. Beware of link farms. They can hurt your website ranking.

5. Free classifieds. Way too many to recommend just one. Your chances of success are greater if you concentrate on placing ads in sources relevant to your type of business.

6. Create your own e-zine. This should only be attempted after you feel confident in your knowledge of your business. And there are also many great places for you to pay to list your business that won't break the piggy bank. But for now, concentrate on the free methods we have covered here.
