Many experts will argue that search engine optimization is the singular most important aspect of traffic generation for any website. However, those experts are usually the same one's who accept visa or master card for the monthly charge to "optimize" your site's performance.

Now, I don't know about you, but I prefer the cliff notes version of that definition, which is "improving the volume of traffic via targeted keywords."
A simple enough concept to understand, right? Many business owners begin the process of building a website with very little or no perception of what it takes to be seen on line. Dozens--if not hundreds--of individuals and companies are hawking website building programs and templates with the promise of instant visibility after a little cutting and pasting.
But delivering quality visitors to any site--especially a new site--takes more than just a cookie cutter approach to website building. While many owners will fall for the lure of easy traffic that is promised by the seo guru's, many owners have discovered that consistent quality traffic has to be earned.
It's like the old saying "trick me once, shame on you, trick me twice, shame on me." Don't even try a third time because, trust me, it is no charm!!
